Short Version
Sarajevo city represents the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

It is the place where different cultures meet and make Sarajevo unique multicultural center.

It is the city where great empires ruled and left marks all over the country: Ottoman empire, Austria-Hungarian empire, communist period – Yugoslavia and  modern period of independence.

What you can expect
Is there a better example of multi-confessional society than four the greatest religions temples in radius of 100 m?

The sounds and prayers one can hear at the same moment is the feeling which can not be described but has to be experienced.

Sent of authentic coffee, the smell of traditional kitchen, the historical appearance of the old part of the town, hosting and friendly citizens and soul of the city itself are definitely the guarantee of excellent vacation.

Can you imagine that Sarajevo was the center of the world in 1984th? It was the year of 14th Winter Olympic Games.

Only eight years later Sarajevo was war field, it was one of the longest sieges in modern history.

Recommended for Travel Services in BiH
I was a solo female traveler in BiH. During my time there, I engaged Invicta for four day-tours around the country. Edin was my guide and driver.I was initially apprehensive about travelling alone with a male guide but was quickly put at ease by Edin after meeting him the very first morning. I understand that Invicta is a new start-up and Edin is also relatively new to the trade. Edin, however, appeared ... more to be a knowledgeable guide and was able to answer my questions (in fluent English) at ease. He was also a very safe driver, which should be requirement for all travellers looking to engage a driver, given the mostly narrow and winding roads and lanes in the country.I usually take quite some time to warm up to new people but with Edin, I found it effortless to maintain a conversation with him. Apart from the usual guide-traveller conversations, Edin and I also had many discussions during our meals together and drive trips about our personal lives and experiences. I am truly thankful that I engaged Invicta (which responded promptly to all my queries) for their services and appreciate the time I had with Edin, which gave me the opportunities to learn about the beautiful country and her hospitable people, and to know Edin, as a person. My best wishes to Invicta and Edin.Joyce (Singapore)

Great Tours, helpful workers
My boyfriend and I took a 3-hour private city tour (25€ each), which included the Tunnel of Hope, the Old Jewish Cemetery, other important war sites, and panoramas of the city. Our guide, Edin, was very knowledgable and kind. He and his manager also helped us with questions we had just about every day. I just wish we'd taken their Mostar/Herzegovina tour, because I think we'd have gotten more out ... more of the experience than travelling their ourselves. Thanks, guys.
