Let’s call it a day in Yangon
Morning pick you up at the hotel by our English speaking guide. Visit Botahtaung Pagoda at the bank of Yangon River. In the compound, there is a famous shrine of Mya Nan Nwe who is ... morethe spirit of a Shan and Bamar royal descendant. She contributed to religious works, including the rebuilding of the Botahtaung Pagoda after its destruction during World War II. After her death in 1957, she became revered by followers, for her ability to grant wishes to those who appealed to her help. The shrine attracts 700 worshippers per day, and between 1,000 and 3,000 worshippers on weekends, including many Thai devotees, donate offertories and also to ask for blessing of the sister.

And walk to bustling Botataung Jetty where you can observe daily life of people who come across the river from ruin area and work in the city.

From there, walk to the city centre passing through the colonial buildings, Yangon Post Office, Myanmar Port Authority Office, High Court, City Hall and so on. Stop for photo shot at Sule Pagoda and Independence Park.

Afternoon visit Bogyoke Market (Scott Market); lined with stalls selling handicrafts, art, jewelry, and other souvenirs. This is a trip to Thanlyin and Kyauktan!
TO A COUNTRY YARD JUST ACROSS A LONG BRIDGE FROM YANGON In the morning about 08:00, our English speaking guide pick you up at your hotel in Yangon and drive to Thanlyin and Kyauktan, ... moreone of the easiest escapes from Yangon is to the rural. Thanlyin was formerly known as Syriam. Myanmar usually pronounces as "Tanyin". It is located on the bank of Yangon River, and is a major port.

Arrive Thanlyin after 45 minute drive and visit to Kyaikkhauk Pagoda. In the compound of the pagoda, there are two cemeteries. One of them is ex-king of Taungoo. Another one is the cemetery of Minister Padaytha Yarzar, well know poet in konbaung Era.

Then continue to Kyauk Tan to vitsit Yele Pagoda, a stupa on a small island. You have to take a boat to get to Yele Pagoda . Moreover, there are many giant fishes which you can feed.

After that visit to Ancient Portuguese Church, Parda Gyi Pagoda in Parda Gyi Village which is accepted as an ancient palace and small city in history.

On the way, visit Htauk Kyant Market beside the junction road to Pyay and Bago where you can observe morning life of rural people.

Then proceed to Bago, visit 4 huge Buddha Image known as Kyaikpun Pagoda. After that, visit to Kyakkhawine Monastery. Over a thousand monks live and study Buddhist literature. You can donate the last meal to the queue of the monks in total silence. Then proceed to Shwemawdaw Pagoda that higher than Shwedagon Pagoda.

Afternoon visit Hinthagone Pagoda – a legendary shrine laid on a tranquil hillock, Shwethalyaung reclining Buddha Image which is over 55 metres long and 15 metres high. The reclining Buddha is the main highlight of Bago, the bell shaped stupa, the Mahazedi Pagoda, which was built by King Bayinnaung in 1560 to enshrine a relic of the Buddha.

Then drive back to Yangon. On the way, stop at Htaukkyant War Cemetery, a beautiful landscaped cemetery that houses the graves of more than 27,000 allied soldiers from the WW

Day 7 - Bagan sightseeing (B,L,D) ( car , bike)
After breakfast , start cycling to Bagan. It is prepare to be astounded by Bagan, a grassy plain scattered with pagodas. We'll explore the downtown area, where the ghost of the British Colonial influence still prevails From there we will visit the (64m) long massive reclining Buddha at Chaukhtagyi Paya. Lunch at a local restaurant. Late afternoon visit to most revered and most famous landmark, one of the World's wonder "Shwedagon Pagoda " at dusk, as the Sun begins to fall over the City. Day 02 : Yangon – Mawlamying (car, bike) ( L , D )
After breakfast, pick up you at your hotel and drive to Bago which about 80km far away from Yangon. Arrive at Bago. Start cycling to Mawlamyine. Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch continue cycling to Mawlamyine. Mawlamying, known as Molmein in the British times, is the 3rd largest city in Myanmar and situated in the south of Myanmar. It is about 6 to 7 hours to go by car. To arrange the cycling tour(with Mountain Bikes!!!), On the way to Mawlamyine bike about 75km. Evening arrive at Mawlamyine. Dinner at local Restaurant. Overnight at the hotel in Mawlamying. (cycling distance-75km)

Day 03 : Mawlamying Cycling to Belu Island-Mawlamyine (boat, bike) (B,L,D)
After breakfast, cycling to Jetty from your hotel, just a few minutes. Then take a ferry boat approximately 45 minutes to the jetty of Bilu Island or Ogre Island(you won’t meet Ogres there!!). Once you disembark, you mount the bike and you will be meeting firstly with the old Chevrolet at the jetty that still serve for transportation. some activities on the island during the Mountain bike cycling excursion; After excursion making a loop on the island, you can see the local ways of life and nature of village life, and you can learn how to earn their living. You can enjoy beautiful natural scenic. Lunch at a local restaurant. you will be back at the same jetty to transfer the same way back to Mawlamying. Take rest at the hotel. Evening take a walk to Strand Road and enjoy night life. Overnight at the hotel in Mawlamying. (cycling distance- 65km)

Day 04: Mawlamyine-U Na Oak Village-Hpa-An ( B , L , D )
After breakfast, cycling tour will take you to the most beautiful(but few people know it, indeed!!!) Monastery Complex built and donated by the Colonial-Era Burmese Merchant, called U Na Oak. To reach the village, you will have to cross by the bridge over two rivers called Gyaing and Attran rivers. You may visit Pomelo Orchards on the way to Kado Village where you will see the best Glass Mosaic decorations and Teak Wooden Buddha Images. The monastery is donated by a Myanmar Well-Known Teak Merchant, U Na Oak. We used to learn about his patriotic battle in terms of inland water transport business against the then Irrawaddy Floatilla Company in the British times. Walk around the monastery complex, take the pictures of the amazing wood-carvings decorated on the inner walls of the monastic buildings. Sometimes, you will see the European pillar pedestals at some of the buildings.

Cycling to Pha-an, the capital city of Kayin State, one of the ethnic majority, is worth a lot. Surrounding the city are the Natural Lime-stone Caves, Hot Springs, Pagodas & Temples, the Thanlwin(Salween River) with Natural beauty with Clear Water for a pleasant boat trip, and many more. Visit Saddan cave. Lunch at local restaurant. Late afternoon arrive at Hpaan. Check in hotel and take rest at the hotel for a while. Evening before dinner take a tour to down town and enjoy dinner. Overnight at the hotel in Hpaan. (Cycling distance -75km)

Day 05 : Hpa–An Sightseeing (bike) ( B , L,D )
Cycling excursion for today, we will make along the motorway but not very busy with trucks and car. All the way, you can enjoy the beauty and nature of the countryside. On the cycling route, you may drop in at the Kyauk Ka Lat Monastery which is surrounded by the water of the natural lake and the name of the monastery derives the Lime-stone column that is jetting out into the sky. 20 minutes Cycling from that monastery will take you to Kant Kaw Ta Htaung, one-thousand Buddhas sitting under the Kant Kaw Trees. That Buddha Complex is located just at the foot of Mt. Zwekabin, the symbol of Kayin State. Lunch and dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel in Hpaan. (cycling distance-40km)

Day 06 : Pha-an to Yangon (car,bike) ( B , L, D )
After breakfast, cycling way back to Yangon. On the way, you can visit the Kawkun Cave which have many Buddha statues on the wall since 13 century AD. And then continue cycling to Mudon. Lunch at a local restaurant. After that drive back direct to Yangon. Evening arrive at Yangon. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel in Yangon. (cycling distance- 65km)

Day 07: Yangon Departure (B)

Day 1 - Arrival Yangon Welcome our valued guest at Yangon International airport by our experienced English speaking guide with compliment sweet smelled roses. Yangon is the main gateway ... moreto Myanmar and largest and most commercially important city.

Transfer to your hotel and check in. Relax your long haul flight tiredness. In the evening visit most revered and most famous landmark, one of the World's wonder “Shwedagon Pagoda" where you scan observe Myanmar People's traditions and beliefs, architecture of the stupa. Overnight at your hotel in Yangon.

Day 2 - Yangon - Mandalay by flight
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport for the flight to Mandalay - the last Myanmar Kingdom where you can observe Myanmar’s Arts and Crafts. In the past around 1990s, this city was occupied by migrated people and the local community was harm a lot. We would protect the local community by supporting them by you, the money you pay as entrance fees and your dining, your riding ect…
(To avoid from getting up so early, we would try to get late morning flight like around 08:00 departure. There are some flights operating in the mid late morning and afternoon but you may skip some sightseeing.)

Arrive Tada U Airport and drive to Amarapura. Visit U Bein Teak Bridge – the world’s longest footbridge made almost entirely of teak spans just over one kilometre on the wide and shallow Taungthaman Lake, supported by more than 1,000 poles, mostly crafted from teak. It’s particularly vibrant at sunrise and sunset when monks, fishermen and village residents make their daily commute across. Then visit to a weaving cottage where you can observe how to produce colorful Myanmar silk and cotton longyi. On the way to Mandalay, visit Mahamuni Buddha Image - landmark of Mandalay, 4m high seated image was casted in bronze but completely covered the figure in a 15cm think layer of gold leaves.

Proceed to Mandalay and visit traditional handicraft workshops such as, marble carving, gold leaves beating, and tapestry workshop. And visit Kuthodaw Pagoda – the world biggest book, Shwenandaw (Golden Palace) Monastery – the finest of wood carving. Finally enjoy the sunset on top of Mandalay Hill where we can admire the beauty of Mandalay City, Shan Plateau, etc. check in and overnight at hotel.

Day 3 - Mandalay - Mingun - Inwa - Mandalay by local private boat
Breakfast at hotel. We would visit today to Mingun crossing the mighty Irrawaddy River by local ferry boat. Visit the vast picturesque ruin of King Bodawpaya's unfinished pagoda - an earthquake in 1839 opened cracks in the huge structure. Opposite the pagoda you can also see the remains of colossal huge brick lions facing the river. And visit Mingun Bell - cast in 1790 under orders from King Bodawpaya and weighing 90 tons, making it the largest ringing bell in the world.

Then proceed sailing to Inwa by boat about 02 hours. On the way, we may observe the beauty of serene Sagaing Hill & bridge from the boat. Arrive to Inwa and visit by horse carts to Maenu Okkyaung Monastery - built by the chief queen in 1818, Nan Myint Tower-27 meter masonry high, Bargayar Monastery - well known for its wood carving with 267 teak pillars. Come back to Mandalay and overnight at hotel.

Day 4 - Mandalay-Bagan by ferry boat
After breakfast, drive to Jetty to embark on a ferry boat. The journey to Bagan along Irrawaddy River will take at least (8) hours. Few scenes are so authentic and beautiful, hilltop pagodas, bustling harbors and unique riverside living, bamboo-raft, fishing boats ceramics pots carried on bamboo-rafts. The journey is well underway by sunrise roughly. On top of all those things, the boat trip itself is full of fun. Arrive Bagan in the evening. Transfer to the hotel, check in and overnight.

Day 5 - Bagan sightseeing by e-bike
Bagan - the richest archeological zone in Asia, there are a lot of temples and pagodas remain as our national treasure. Be within reach, Bagan was hit by earthquake for 2 times, Magnitude 6.5 on 8 July 1975 and Magnitude 6.8 on 24 August 2016. Now, we are preparing the damages under the instruction of UNESCO and we hope you would also inspire to save our treasure. Please don’t give money to children when you see at temples. We are caring them can be go school. Instead of them we would bring you to a monastic school and you could donate there.

Breakfast at hotel. We would use e-motorbike during our visit for low energy using purpose and save this environment. We would bring you to the four famous pagodas for their specifics interests. They are:-

Dhammayangyi Pagoda - it’s the most massive in size structure in Bagan. Locals refer to it to the haunted temple and think it is haunted with the sins of the ruthless King Narathu who killed his own father, brother, and queen. Others think there are hidden treasures behind the blocked up walls.

Thatbyinnyu Temple - Built in 1144, Thatbyinnyu is the tallest of the Bagan monuments at 61 meters high. It’s adjacent to the much busier Ananda Temple, so again we found we had the temple practically to ourselves to explore.
Shwezigon Pagoda – Local believe that this stupa is the most powerful and glory because of its building by King Anawrahta and King Kyansittha. You can observe its structures and 9 wonders there.
Anada Temples - King Kyansittha’s masterpiece and the crowning achievement of the early style temple of architecture. Its architectural wonder in a fusion of Mon and adopted Indian style of architecture.
As a bonus, we would visit a Lacquer ware cottage to see how the local craft men skillfully working stage by stage. And we would enjoy our sunset along the Irrawaddy River by local ferry boat. Overnight at your hotel in Bagan.
(If you would not be fit to take bicycle, we would arrange a car for you and surcharge would be applied).

Day 6 - Bagan cooking experience
After breakfast at hotel. Today we would learn how to cook Myanmar tradition dishes. Our chef would meet you at the hotel and go together to buy integrands for your lunch. Visit Nyaung U Market where you can meet local house wives busy among fresh vegetables and local products. Then proceed to the chef’s house and preparing for cooking lunch. We sure that you would have fun while you cooking. Then have lunch. Return to hotel and take rest, Swim or enjoy Spa and having traditional massage. In the evening, enjoy sunset view over Bagan plain from top platform of a permitted temple. Overnight at hotel in Bagan.

Day 7 - Bagan - Mt. Popa - Kalaw by car
Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Mt.Popa - an extinct volcano which is known as “Home of the Spirits” and observe the life of rural area on the way such as producing the palm sweets at toddy firm. You may sit and taste toddy juice, Laphet – well know pickle tea salad and tradition snacks. We may stop several places for making the photos and knowing the countryside. Climb up 777 steps to reach of top of Mt.Popa cliff temple and enjoy the landscapes, the panoramic view of extinct volcano and the plain to Bagan. Proceed to Kalaw and overnight.

Day 8 - Kalaw Elephant Camp visit
Kalaw is a town in southern Shan State. During the colonial period, Kalaw was a British hill station. Relics of this era still exist within the township with colonial style buildings and the British built rail network. It is well known trekking destination offering walks throughout the region, including to the famous Inle Lake, because of the nature beauty and its tribes you could observe. But our program is more than that. We would like to show you The Green Hill Valley Elephant Camp, an ethical organization set up to care for ageing and poorly elephants and to promote the ethical treatment of elephants for tourism rather than simply for entertainment. You would learn about taking care of the elephants, have the chance to feed and bathe them and plant trees as part of the re-forestation project being operated by the camp. The experience has received the excellence. And there are job opportunities for local people.

After breakfast at hotel. Drive straight to Magway elephant camp for 45mins drive. The team from the camp welcome and inform about their project. Then we walk about 5-7 minutes to elephant village and see the life of mahouts with their families. And they would introduce with the elephants and feed them their daily prepared food. Then team will lead you to the river where elephant bath and you can join for washing elephants like your owned pet. (Riding is not our main focus. We will let you be in touch with the elephants as Mahouts during the washing time.)
Lunch will be served at the main camp.
You may able to have more information about elephants and forest. Then, you may explore around the forest area, opportunity to see butterflies, birds and orchids in conservation area by your own exploration.
You are also welcome to join planting one regional tree for forest recovery efforts.
Return to main camp and enjoy the view through valley. Drive back to Kalaw and overnight.

Day 9 - Kalaw - Nyaung Shwe - Inle by car
Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Nyaung Shwe where the famous Inle Lake is located. Arrive Nyaung Shwe and visit Shwe Yan Pyay Monastery - It's an old teak wood monastery, reserved for teaching for many children monks practicing their scriptures. Check into the hoel. Late afternoon we take a bike to visit Red Mountain Vineyard (3.5 km from Nyaung Shwe) to taste local wine with a stunning location overlooking Inle Lake, it's an adventure in itself to cycle there, which we enjoyed very much. There is no tour of the winery offered, but there is a wine tasting which provides 4 glasses of wine and some bread or cheese. Then bike back to the hotel and overnight.

Day 10 - Inle sightseeing
Inle Lake is famous for its floating villages and gardens and the unique way of life of the local Intha people, with their living communities based entirely on the water. The lake is 22 km long by 10 km wide, and sits in a valley between two mountain ranges, feels like a different world to the rest of Myanmar: in villages and towns across the lake, wooden houses are built high on stilts and fishermen steer their one-man boats with a characteristic rowing style wrapping one leg around their oar.

Breakfast at hotel. The pleasant day on the lake is started. The boat comes and picks you up to explore the lake. Along with fishing, floating gardening, traditional handicrafts, silk weaving and silversmiths are an important part of the local economy which you would see today. And you would visit regional once in every fifth day market takes place around the different area of the Inle Lake if today coincides with the market day.

You would read or hear about Kayan women wearing the traditional rings which elongate their necks. (Taking photos of them would be encouraged, but the tribe is not in fact indigenous to this area - their own home is in the hills south west of Loikaw where ITC provides CBT project.) We would bring you to local restaurants to observe Shan and Intha traditional foods. Return to the hotel and overnight.

Day 11 - Inle - Indein - Inle Excursion
Breakfast at the hotel. Today we would take excursion to Indein Village, located at the western side of the lake. Passing Nyaung Ohak Monastery and follow a stair path lined up with many hundreds of wooden columns, you finally will reach the impressive Shwe Indein Pagoda Complex. From the hillside you have great view over the lake area. On the way back to the boat, walk through a romantic bamboo forest at the riverside, where you may observe local people having a bath. Overnight at hotel.

Day 12 - Inle - Heho by car - flight to Thandwe for Ngapali Beach
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Heho Airport to fly to Thandwe where Ngapali Beach is existed.
Ngapali has a justified reputation as the country’s premier beach getaway. Ngapali continues to maintain a charming fishing-village vibe and one of our natural treasures. Plenty of sunlight, variety of corals and fish, crystal-clear water, pristine white sands, the clear blue waters of the Bay of Bengal, and a host of sophisticated accommodation awaits you.
Transfer to the hotel by shuttle bus. Relax and enjoy a day swimming, snorkeling and kayaking at the unspoiled and clean waters beach. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 13 - Leisure at Ngapali Beach
Breakfast at hotel. Relax at beach and overnight.
(If you are interested in fishing village, we could arrange for you. Our local guide would come and greet you at the hotel and take you to the jetty by car for an hour, then take a boat heading to the village called “Maung shwe Lay”. There you can explore and learn the lifestyle of the local fishermen who making the dry fish and preparing net to go fishing. Then return to boat and having picnic lunch.

Have a nap on boat and enjoy your swim or snorkel around the beautiful beach. Then return to the hotel and overnight. Additional charges would be added)

Day 14 - Ngapali - Thandwe - Yangon by flight
Breakfast at hotel. We have to go back to Yangon the gate way to your home. Transfer to the Heho Airport by car and take a morning flight and arrive Yangon. Transfer to your hotel and overnight.

Day 15 - Yangon Sightseeing
Breakfast at hotel. Then drive to the downtown the heart of Yangon where the ghost of the British Colonial influence still prevails. Stop at the front of the City Hall and walk around city center passing through the colonial buildings:- High Court, Myanmar Port Authority Office, Yangon Post Office and so on…
Then visit Kandawgyi National Park where you can take panoramic photo with Shwedagon Pagoda and Karaweik Royal Barge. Then we would bring you to Scott Market, today known as Bogyoke Aung San Market. The market is filled with Myanmar Souvenirs, from lacquer ware to gems and jewellery (which are available at extremely discounted prices). Evening stroll along the China Town area and experience firsthand its rustic market where local people enjoy their evening by sipping tea or beer with BBQ. Overnight at hotel.

Day 16 - Yangon Departure
Breakfast at hotel. Leisure till your departure flight time and transfer to the airport.

Enjoy your breakfast prepared by the Chef of Mergui Princess. After breakfast, continue to 254 Island which is small but with its white sand and semi-circle shape of the beach, it is one of the most popular among tourists. Besides, it is the most beautiful area with full of coral reefs in Lampi Island. Various kinds of fish species can be found while snorkeling. Enjoy your dinner onboard and overnight.

After breakfast onboard, swimming nearby. Depart to Nga Mann Kyunn which has both beautiful hard and soft corals as well as Nurse Shark. A Cave is under water where so many kinds of fishes can be seen. After lunch on board, continue to Kyun Phila (Great Swinton) which is one of the most popular and beautiful island in Mergui Archipelago with its beautiful corals for snorkeling. Day-4 : Salet Galet - Marble Island (Ye’ Aye Hnget Thaik) (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

After breakfast onboard, one can trek to hill (West Peak -385 meter high) with enjoy the natural view of the island. Enjoy Swimming, Sea Kayaking and Snorkeling near the island.
