Annapurna base camp trek is famous for trekkers. The principal peaks of the western portion of the great Annapurna Himal, including Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Fang, Annapurna, Ganagapurna, ... moreAnnapurna 3 and Machhapuchhare, are arranged almost precisely in a circle about 10 miles in diameter with a deep glacier-covered amphitheater at the center.

From this glacier basin, known as the Annapurna Sanctuary, the Modi Khola knifes its way south in a narrow gorge fully 12,000 ft. deep. Further south, the gorge opens up into a wide and fertile valley, the domain of the Gurungs. The middle and upper portions of Modi Khola offer some of the best short trekking routes in Nepal, and the valley is located so that these treks can be easily combined with treks into the Kali Gandaki region to the west. In spite of the great heights of the surrounding peaks and ice walls, the valley floor between 12,000 and 14,000 ft. can provide comfortable camping spots in good weather.

Annapurna region is best described as the most happening incentive trekking destination of Nepal. The Annapurna Circuit Trek has been proved as a highly praised and spectacular trekking ... moreroute in the Annapurna region since it opened to foreign trekkers in 1977. This three weeks trek starts right from Besishahar and goes along the Marshyangdi River, with great view of Manashlu and Himal Chuli to the east. This magnificent trek leads you to the fine village inhabited by a wide diversity of people from different ethnic groups, offering spectacular and majestic view of the white Himalayas. As it continues to the north of the main Himalayan range on to the high and dry Tibetan Plateau, the scenery is equally breathtaking.
The highest point of the trek is Thorungla pass at the top of the valley at 5416m high. Due to the difficulties of crossing the pass, the circuit is usually walked in a counter clockwise ... moredirection. Traveling clockwise the longer ascent and shorter descent from west to east is too much for many peoples to manage in one day.

As we descend to the west at Muktinath from Manang, we continue to the the barren Tibetan like village of the kali Gandaki - the worlds deepest gorge passes between the giant Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountains. After you cross the Thorung La pass from Manang to Muktinath the final seven days of the circuit trek are the same as the Jomsom Trek from Pokhara, but in reverse.

We basically recommend the royal trekking trip for beginners or those who have very limited time, because they have an opportunity to experience the unforgettable trekking holidays ... morein the Himalaya. This Royal trek presents a true picture of uniqueness and allowing us the chance to capture the traditional lifestyles of the tribes whose ancient religious practices and traditions have remained unchanged for thousands of years. This is the small trek in Annapurna region known as “The Royal Trek" because it is the route used by Prince Charles of England and luminaries like Mick Jigger.
The trek starts from Pokhara after driving to Bijaypur Khola. The trek takes you on a four days loop through the Himalayan foothills and ends up in Begnas Lake after taking boat and ... moredrive back to Pokhara. This is a short and very enjoyable trek, especially for those who dont have time for a longer Himalayan trek or Expedition. The top offers the unexplainable 360 degree panorama of snow capped peaks extending northwards into Tibet. Upon looking back we can view several peaks of Annapurna and in front of us is the unfathomable gorge of Kali Gandaki. So, the trip to this museum surely provides a good insight into the historical facts of Nepal. Patan is popular for several religious temples. Moreover, it is renowned for fine arts and architectures. You can visit Krishna Mandir, Buddha, Golden Temples and a chance to know about the lifestyles of native people. People are also lured to visit Bhaktapur as a tour package. They provide clear information about the past and history. Stay Safe
Altitude Sickness: The main and common risk while trekking above about 2500m is Altitude sickness. Altitude sickness is caused by acute exposure to low partial pressure of oxygen at high altitude. The available amount of oxygen to sustain mental and physical alertness decreases with altitude. Available oxygen drops as the air density itself, the number of molecules (of both oxygen and nitrogen) per given volume, drops as altitude increases. So don’t ignore, if you have any symptoms then descending to a lower altitude is the only option.
Water: Have some means to purify water, iodine or a fine ceramic filter are the best options. The streams should be considered polluted and whilst bottled water is often available, the disposal of plastic bottles is a problem.

Electricity in Nepal
Nepal is a developing country, Outside of major cities area electricity on trekking can be scares. You should have to pay 100-800 NRs per hour to charge goods on many lodges and also many tea-house treks, including in Annapurna base camp trek, Everest Base camp trek and many others treks also. Chargers often won't work on low power solar systems you find right up in the mountains so u can buy alternative bayonet light to electricity power plug converter, which will only works in low voltage is highlow. The standard Nepalese electrical outlet is a three-pronged triangle so bring three-pronged triangle chargers.

Nepal Climate information
Nepal is a landlocked country which lies in Hindu Kush Himalayan region. Nepal has monsoonal climate having four main seasons: spring, summer, monsoon, autumn and winter.

Below is a general guide to conditions at different seasons:
January to March (winter): In this season temperature will decrease at often 0°C (32°F) at night, with extreme cold at high elevations. It is possible to trek in places like the Everest region during the winter but due to extreme cold weather and heavy snow fall it may be quite difficult than as usual.
April to June (summer): In these months it is quite warm and dry weather. There is an abundance of blooming flowers in the Himalayas at this time, with rhododendrons, in particular, adding a splash of color to the landscape. This season is the best time to undertake mountain expeditions.
June to September (Monsoon): There will be heavy monsoonal rainfall in this season. Rains are generally lighter in high Himalayan reasons. In this season the mountain ranges are not often visible due to the clouds.
October to December (autumn): These months are cool and clear which is due to the end of monsoon, there is little dust in the air so this is the best season to visit the hilly and mountainous regions.

Poon Hill trek will complete in a week without ... moremuch rigorous effort as we will be walking across the mountain route. The major highlight of Ghorepani Hike is magical sunrise Himalayan views from Poon Hill viewpoint that surely makes you spellbound.
Poon Hill Trek in Nepal begins as we travel from Kathmandu to Pokhara. Naturally blessed Pokhara is not less than paradise. Pokhara surrounds beautiful mountains, pristine lakes, waterfalls ... moreand other attractions. Initially we drive to starting point of the trek at Nayapul.Further, we hike towards Tikhedhunga, Ulleri and Ghorepani as we climb 3300 stone steps and cross the beautiful bamboo and rhododendron forests that blossom in spring (March, April) season.

The naming of Ghorepani Poon Hill is derived from two local words ‘Ghore(Horse)’ and ‘Pani(water)’. This place used to be resting point for ancient traders who found water in the place for their horses. And Poon is the name of the nearby hill.

Finally we get ready for hiking up to Poon hill at dawn for experiencing magical sunrise views. Views of snow capped mountains from Poon Hill can’t be described in words when the warm rays of early sun gradually strikes the Himalayan giants including Mt Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Mt Annapurna I (8,091m), Mt Nilgiri (7,040m), Annapurna south (7219m),Annapurna II (7937m), Annapurna III (7555m), Annapurna IV (7525m), Hunchuli (6441m), fishtail or Machhapuchhre (6,997m), Lamjung Himal (6,986m), Tukuche peak (6,920m), Dhampus peak (6,012m) among others.

Along with the best of sunrise views, Ghorepani Trek also gives us an insight into local Gurung and Magar culture, tradition and lifestyle as we descend through culturally affluent and naturally blessed villages of Ghandruk and Birethanti.
