About BookNanook
We founded BookNanook in 2015 and launched our platform in March 2016. Since then, we have helped thousands of travellers find their dream journey by matching them with independent local travel experts, the people who know their destinations best.
What we do
You tell us what you are dreaming of. We introduce you to a handpicked local expert from our network. They design, price and deliver a journey around you, and you book and pay them directly.
Why it works
Local experts know the guides, the lodges, the timing and the small things that make a journey special. We know the experts. Fewer middlemen means more of your money stays with the people who make your trip happen.
How we use technology
Anna, our AI assistant, helps you share your wishes quickly and keeps our communication organised. She always tells you she is an AI. Real people, our team and your local expert, plan and deliver your journey.
Who is behind BookNanook
BookNanook is run by Nanook Travel in Norway.
